How to Dry Blackberries
Pre-Freeze Shortcut: For the fastest results, freeze the blackberries for 24 hours before drying. This breaks the skins and lets the moisture escape much quicker.
Dehydrator Method: Spread the berries in a single layer, ensuring they don’t touch. Dry at 125°F–135°F for 18 to 36 hours.
Oven Method: Place the berries on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Set your oven to its lowest temperature (155°F–175°F) and prop the door open slightly with a wooden spoon to let steam out. Keep a close eye on them to prevent burning; they will take about 3 to 8 hours.
