Arbor Day Celebration
As a family-owned farm, we are deeply committed to preserving Georgia’s natural beauty, and we want to inspire you to do the same! Join us for our Arbor Day Celebration, a special event dedicated to the environment and our community where we will be giving away free Dogwood trees to all of our guests! Whether you’re looking for a new sapling to plant at home or simply want to enjoy a day of festivities in the orchard, we invite you to come out and experience the beauty of nature with us.
Tractor Tours
Down here on the farm, we love to show people around. That’s why we’re excited to offer tractor tours throughout spring, summer, and fall! There’s always something new to discover on our 300-acre farm nestled in the Blue Ridge Mountains.
Wine & Hard Cider Tastings
Did you know that Mercier Orchards is the only apple orchard in Georgia to grow, press, ferment, and can our very own hard cider? So stop on by our tasting room, sip a spell, and enjoy some good ol’ southern hospitality at the farm.
Fishing On The Farm
Calling all anglers, young and old! Grab your cane poles, your favorite fishing hat, and gather your loved ones for a day of unforgettable fun at Mercier Orchards. Amidst our rolling hills lies a beautiful pond, some may say “a fisherman’s paradise” waiting to be explored! It’s open to the public for catch and release fishing during our usual business hours and completely free of charge! The water is brimming with bass, bream, and carp, all stocked and eagerly awaiting someone to come by and cast a line!
Bus & School Tours
Here at the farm we offer a few different tours throughout the year. We welcome both school tours and bus tours! Taking a tour with us means getting to learn about our history that dates back to 1943 as well as exploring the lifecycle of an apple, learning about sustainable farming, and tasting the fruits of our labor!
U-Pick
We have more than 80 years of farming under our belt, so you might say we know a thing or two about growing fruit. And with strawberries, blueberries, blackberries, peaches, and over 40 varieties of apples, we’re sure you’ll find something to pick that’ll suit your fancy. So head on over to the farm and join us for one of our famous U-Pick Events.
Santa at the Farm
Ho ho ho! Join us at Mercier Orchards on Saturday, December 13th, 2025 10 am- 3 pm for photos with Santa.
Visit Mercier Orchards this holiday season! Our store is all decked out with Christmas cheer and festive decor. Jingle bells fill the air, the scent of freshly baked cookies warms your heart, and the world is filled with joy. It is a special time for families to gather together and share the Christmas spirit.
Spiked Apple 5k
Join us on Saturday, March 28, 2026 at 10:30am for an exciting annual event that features the amazing scenery and landscape of Mercier Orchards! Whether you are looking to run, walk or just enjoy the cider and camaraderie this race is a sure thing for a great time and an incredible experience!
Customer Appreciation Day
Here at Mercier Orchards, we are SO thankful for each and every one of our customers. Every year in February (usually around Adele’s birthday) we hold “Customer Appreciation Day.” It’s our way of saying thank you to everyone who supports us and helps keep us moving forward!
