Do you remember the good ol’ days back when your grandma used to tell you to pick some blueberries off the bushes and she’d make a homemade blueberry pie? You can still experience the nostalgia of grandma’s blueberry picking tradition with us at one of our famous U-Pick events. Mercier Orchards would like to invite you to gather sweet blueberries for pies, jams, or just some good old fashioned snacking!

$10 per person - Includes tractor tour and bag for picking

The Blueberry U-Pick Experience
On your way to the fields, enjoy a scenic tractor ride through the hills and valleys of our farm. Be sure to take in the stunning mountain views surrounding our historic orchard along the way. From up top you’ll be able to see half the county and more than 300 acres of fruit growing trees, brambles, and bushes.
Blueberry season begins in late spring. Soak up the sun while you watch your kid’s eyes fill with wonder as they pick their own farm-fresh fruit straight from the source. It’s a perfect opportunity to experience first-hand where blueberries come from and taste the goodness of hand-picked fruit. Our goal is for you to leave with more than just blueberries: We want you to leave memories that will last a lifetime.
Before you head home, be sure to swing by our market & bakery for more blueberry treats! We’ve got plenty of fresh blueberries, along with jams, jellies, syrups, and our seasonal “Out of the Blue Ridge” hard cider to enjoy. Plus, you won’t want to miss out on our seasonal blueberry fried pies straight from the fryer. So gather up your loved ones and come on down for a day of blackberry filled fun.
