Boiled Cider Vinaigrette is a delicious and zesty salad dressing made with fresh boiled apple cider. Ingredients
1 ½ cups peanut oil
1/2 cup apple vinegar
1/2 tbsp of sugar
¾ cup of boiled apple cider** (recipe below)
½ tsp salt
Instructions
Add one gallon of Mercier Orchard’s apple cider into a large pot, cover loosely with tin foil, and boil on medium heat for 3 hours
After about 3 hours watch closely until the cider begins to foam and remove from heat.
As it cools will begin to thicken into a syrup
Yields about 1 ½ cups of boiled cider
Once the boiled cider is cooled, mix in vinaigrette ingredients and serve.
